About Tonya Sellinger, PMHNP-BC

Tonya Sellinger, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Nunn Psychiatric Care in Hodgenville, Kentucky. A firm believer in the transparency of care, Ms. Sellinger ensures each of her patients is involved, educated, and committed to their individualized treatment plan.

Ms. Sellinger graduated from Galen College of Nursing in Lousiville, Kentucky, in 2010 with her associate’s in nursing. She then attended Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion and graduated with her Bachelor of Nursing in 2014. She remained at Indiana Wesleyan for her master’s in Advanced Practice. Throughout her education, Ms. Sellinger joined an interdisciplinary team working with the IDD (intellectually or developmentally disabled) population. She assisted in developing specialized care for these individuals with a person-centered approach. The skills and knowledge gained from this experience ignited her concern for each patient’s care, treatment, and education.  

She looks forward to serving the incredible people of the Commonwealth of Kentucky through her work at Nunn Psychiatric Care.
